The dragonfly is remarkable:  its two sets of beautiful jeweled wings, allow speed and flight; its brilliant color enlivens scope; its exciting behavior summons love; and its spectacular aerial abilities ensure nimbleness.  The Dragonfly Institute evokes lively imagination, graceful reflection, expansive exploration, and the ability to alight in the moment.

 

Our Purpose

The Institute is a habitat for learning that specializes in the sustainable evolution of organizational life.  Our programs are unique in that they provide a place where we can explore new territory and the facilitator and the participants are respected as learners.  It is a place where the learning strives to evoke deep wisdom while first considering the question “What Matters?”  We focus this question on three areas of vital importance:

 

1.      Employee well-being

2.      A positive social and environmental impact

3.      Financial and/or transactional success

Each offering meets the following criteria.  Did the program or seminar:

*   Stimulate thinking

*   Allow for reciprocal learning between the facilitator and the other participants

*   Provide an opportunity for all voices to be heard

Offerings

All offerings allow for some amount of participant directed study.  They are all on topics the Institute believes are vital to organizational health.  There are two different types of offerings:

 

*  1 –5 day seminars on topics that sparkle with wisdom

*  4 – 6 month programs where we dig for the ‘gold’
